Young Professionals Summit

Brussels Forum’s Young Professionals Summit 2014 (YPS) is an annual event of the German Marshall Fund of the United States where the future generation of leaders meets with senior opinion shapers and decision makers.  Since 2010, YPS has emerged as a leading gathering where young professionals from the spheres of politics, industry, and ideas address core challenges on both sides of the Atlantic as well as new issues posed by the increasing geographic reach of transatlantic cooperation.

YPS 2014 will build on the success of past editions and convene young professionals from Europe, North and South America, Africa and Asia for three days of spirited discussion and debate.

Applications for YPS 2014 are now closed. Following a competitive selection process, the Summit will convene young professionals age 33 and under from all sectors who possess leadership capacity in their community or profession; interest in policy issues affecting transatlantic relations; intellectual curiosity; professional growth; and a commitment to transatlantic and global engagement.

The Agenda and Format

The Young Professionals Summit will be held March 21-23, 2014 in Brussels. The Summit convenes about 90 high-potential young professionals with the goal of fostering dialogue between generations and building new connections across sectors and nations.
